Abyss Jungle Update has finally been released across all the servers. Here’s the Jungle Update log covering new codes, harpoons, and more.
Abyss Jungle Update
This update adds the Sunken Wilds sub-biome with quests, puzzles, new weapons, fish, artifacts, and a world event cycle system while improving balance, rewards, and mutation spawns. It mainly expands exploration and progression while reducing penalties and fixing bugs.

- Sunken Wilds sub-biome added beneath Spirit Roots.
- Designed for exploration with puzzles and hidden side content.
Exploration Content
- Multiple environmental puzzles introduced.
- Side quests scattered throughout the new zone.
- Additional hidden discoveries tied to exploration.
Weapons and Gear
- Banana Gun added.
- Tube weapon added.
- Two secret guns and tubes hidden in the update.
NPCs
- Two new main quest NPCs added.
- Two new side quest NPCs added.
Fishing Additions
- Nine new fish species introduced.
- Some fish only appear during specific world events.
World Event Cycle System
- Day–night system implemented.
- Day lasts 12 minutes.
- Night lasts 8 minutes.
- Event type rotates every cycle.
- Certain mutations and fish only spawn during specific events.
- Shadow mutations spawn three times more often at night.
Artifacts
- Coconut Geode added.
- Contains six new artifacts plus one secret artifact.
Balance Changes
- Cash loss on death reduced by half.
- Several difficult quests nerfed for easier completion.
- Mutation spawn chances increased overall.
Quality of Life
- Artifact Sets added for better collection synergy.
- General gameplay improvements applied.
Bug Fixes
- Various gameplay bugs resolved.
- Stability improvements implemented.
- Minor system issues fixed across features.
